World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is a time to celebrate the spirit of humanitarianism and recognize the individuals who make a difference in their communities.

This year, the theme is: Everything we do comes from the heart.

Yearly, the day celebrates the rules of the “International Red Cross and Red Crescent Motion”. The seven basic rules recognized throughout the World Red Cross Day are Impartiality, Humanity, Independence, Neutrality, Voluntary, Universality, and Unity.
