'Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.'
The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May every year. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 with resolution and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. The International Day provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families.Family is important because they can offer support and security coupled with unconditional love. They will always look to see and bring out the best in you even if you cannot see it for yourself. Our lovely students captured some precious moments with their family as spending quality time with family rejuvenates us.
