Environmental issues have been the key focus of De Indian Public School. The school has taken various initiatives to sensitize its students on critical concerns like energy and water conservation, wastage of food, plastic pollution and recycling waste.
'The school's Eco club - Nature Nurturers' today conducted an awareness programme to conserve water in flush tanks of the school. Our strong team of Nature- Nurturers worked on the Principle of Physics by putting waste plastic bottles, filled with water in the cisterns to reduce wastage of water with each flush. This works on water replacement theory.
Activity also strengthens our commitment towards Government of India's initiative on JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAN and CBSE Eco Club theme for the year on water conservation.
The student's enthusiasm was worth watching along with Eco- Club Coordinator Ms. Meenu Anand.
It is rightly said 'Catch them young and watch them grow.'
