De Indian Public School organised an Orientation Programme on Saturday,29th April 2023 in different slots for all classes. The aim was to accustom the parents with the school culture, policies, ethos,examination pattern and learning pedagogy.
The programme commenced with the traditional lamp lighting followed by a cordial welcome extended by
Ms. Jharna Anand ,the Vice Principal of the school. She focused on effective communication between school and parents and also sought their support and suggestion, so that the children could be provided the best for their holistic development. She encouraged for the regularity, punctuality, usage of almanac, uniform pattern and academic plans of the school. Further, she addressed the parents on giving time to their children and providing them good books to enhance their vocabulary thinking and reading skills. She guided parents with the gaming methodology about effective learning and suggested the need of collaboration of parents and school to build a strong foundation for a glorious future of the students.
Parents were introduced to the new Social Experiential Education (SEE) Learning Centre set up exclusively for Montessori students which was the major attraction and highly appreciated, being the school's USP in being an NEP 2020 in action school.
The Programme was organised in two slots first half commenced in school auditorium regarding school guidelines elucidated by the hon'ble Vice Principal followed by second half in the respective classrooms pertaining academic vision and guidelines shared by the respective class teachers.
The Programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children. Parents were in high spirits after attending the program. It was indeed a fruitful programme for exploring new horizons.
